Industria is driven by the process of material research and rare making. With the versatility of metal, our workshop has experimented with new ways to unveil its beauty, by manipulating its properties — reflected by the human eye — to look like leather, stone, precious metal, or aged minerals. Plush, warm, fabrics soften and add vibrancy to the intensity of steel, and is easily incorporated when creating furniture pieces for the home. In this interplay of soft and hard materials Industria has found comfort in highlighting the elegance of metal through cushioning. 

But against surfaces like stone, or wood, we unlock a more unique interplay, focused on each surface’s subtle nuance in its rawest details. We notice the serene movement of veins across a wood top layered against the blisters of a sand blasted metal base, or the flowing monochrome of precious stone intertwined with hammered metal legs. The introduction of each element, through highlighting of their best features, creates harmony in an otherwise complex piece.
